Tonight, my Democratic colleagues and I are voting "yes" to end the shutdown and avert default on our debts with no changes to the President's health care law. The measure will be signed into law. The 16-day shutdown is over. But it cost the American economy and the American people $24 billion - for nothing, just a GOP political agenda to attack Obama and try to stop Americans from getting health care. Shame. Shame. And more shame on the Republican Party. Democrats stood united against this reckless hostage scheme. Express your support here.
